Cathy Scaramella,
Resource Manager at Trident United Way’s 211 Hotline, has become the
second person in South Carolina to achieve the highest certification
possible in the Information & Referral field.
Scaramella is a
certified resource specialist, earned through the Association of Information
and Referral Specialists (AIRS).
She is now certified
to manage a community information and referral database. She joins John
Boyle, Information Specialist at 211 Hotline, in this distinction.
AIRS is a professional
umbrella for all information & referral providers in both public
and private organizations. Comprehensive and specialized I&R programs
are a critical component of the health and human service delivery system.
