Fundraising
campaigns conducted within the workplace are the
primary way that Trident United Way raises the
resources to improve our community. By allowing
employees to donate through payroll
deduction in a workplace campaign, organizations
enable their employees to have an even greater
impact on our community.
TUW
fundraising involves hundreds of volunteers and
more than 35,000 contributors throughout Berkeley,
Charleston and Dorchester Counties. Volunteer
support helps TUW keep its administrative and
fundraising costs around 12%, meaning that 88
cents of every dollar donated goes into the community
in the form of programs and services. According
to the Better Business Bureau, charities are meeting
the highest standards of efficiency if their costs
are below 35%.

also about the solutions, the positive results
